Biofib Toiture is a bio-based insulation material that combines thermal performance and ease of installation with the ability to adapt to the specific constraints of renovation projects. With a thermal conductivity of 0.040 W/m·K and thermal resistance values reaching up to 5 m²·K/W at a thickness of 200 mm, it ensures significant comfort in both summer and winter. Its low density of 22 kg/m³ makes it one of the lightest bio-based products on the market, reducing handling strain and simplifying roof installation. Semi-rigid across the entire range, Biofib Toiture also stands out for its ability to adapt to the irregular configurations often found in renovation work—such as varying rafter spacings or cross-sections. Generating little dust and causing no irritation during cutting, it also improves working conditions for tradespeople. Made from bio-based raw materials, this new product aims to provide a technical solution to the growing need for energy efficiency while minimizing the environmental impact of buildings. ACERMI certification, Technical Assessment (Avis Technique), and FDES (Environmental Product Declaration) are currently being obtained.
