This new wood-aluminum entrance door features a hybrid design combining an Accoya® door leaf with PET insulation and a powder-coated aluminum facing. The goal is to achieve lasting improvements in performance while minimizing the stresses caused by weather fluctuations and daily use. At the core of the design, Accoya® provides exceptional dimensional stability. This modified wood is also notable for its lightness, which reduces the weight of the door leaf and the strain placed on the hardware. This characteristic helps maintain settings over time and ensures smooth, long-lasting operation. The 80 mm door leaf incorporates 61 mm of PET thermal insulation and two weather seals. Consequently, the door achieves a thermal transmittance (Ud) of 0.86 W/m²K and an acoustic performance rating of 35 dB (RA,tr). Compatible with various glazing systems and decorative elements, it offers a balance between natural aesthetics and technical performance.
