Unilin's MDF wins bronze

Unilin Panels has reached a major milestone in its sustainability strategy by obtaining the Cradle to Cradle Certified Full Scope Bronze V4.0 certification for its entire range of raw and melamine-faced MDF panels. Until now, the MDF products had only been certified for material health criteria. From now on, the entire range also meets requirements related to circularity, social fairness, water and soil stewardship, as well as air quality and climate protection. Recognized as one of the most demanding sustainability labels, this certification evaluates the overall impact of a product throughout its entire lifecycle, from material composition to its effects on the environment and society. It is based on the principle of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and transparency within the company, and forms part of Unilin Panels’ broader “One Home” strategy aimed at reducing environmental impact, ensuring safer working conditions, and contributing to better living standards.
